Congratulations to Poverty Branch for taking the Orlando vote at Will’s Pub last Saturday. All four artists who played are incredible bands, and the RedGorilla team is pumped to have them on board for the big festival in March.

Poverty Branch are high power pop rockers with strong vocals and solid musicianship. The quintet lists numerous influences from Pink Floyd to The Avett Brothers, and Coheed and Cambria, which are evident in their experimental, yet organic sound.

Check out Poverty Branch at the Dizzy Rooster on Thursday March 19th between 7pm-1am where all the venue winners from our five Road to RedGorilla events will be showcasing.

This indie-pop/rock group from Orlando, Fla. Formed in 2005 and is ready to take their shiny brand of pop to the next level. Thanks to strong mid-60’s style melodies (Think, The Beatles) and the influential energy of the punk scene (Misfits, The Stooges) Mumpsy delivers a solidly original sound wrapped neatly in a pretty pop bow. Mumpsy will be sharing their talents on The Road To RedGorilla on January 10, 2009 at Will’s Pub in Orlando, Fla. They will be joined by fellow Florida rockers XOXO, The Beauvilles, and Poverty Branch and will be competing for a prime time spot on the RedGorilla Music Festival in March 2009.
