myspacemasthead728by400The Beauvilles and their polished brand of pop/rock have been dominating the Orlando rock scene since 2004. Founding member Shawn Kyle and Craig Holmes have been working together since 2002, but The Beauvilles have seen their most recent success with the release of their latest LP Whispering Sin, which hit the streets this summer. Thanks to multiple nationwide tours, and appearances at the SXSW Music Festival, The Beauvilles have established themselves as a regional rock n roll powerhouse, and now they’re ready to share their energetic live show with you!

Come out to The Road To RedGorilla at Will’s Pub on January 10 for an earful of The Beauvilles with fellow Orlando rockers Mumpsy, XOXO and Poverty Branch, then, vote for your favorite band of the night right at the venue. The winner will be awarded a feature promotion package at the RedGorilla Music Festival, which takes place from March 18-21, 2009. An online vote will also be included for two weeks following the event. At the end of The Road, the band with the most overall votes (all cities included) will receive a spot on the RedGorilla Music Festival Compilation CD. Don’t miss this chance to see all four bands on one stage for just $7. Doors open at 8pm and the show will start at 9. This indie-pop/rock group from Orlando, Fla. Formed in 2005 and is ready to take their shiny brand of pop to the next level. Thanks to strong mid-60’s style melodies (Think, The Beatles) and the influential energy of the punk scene (Misfits, The Stooges) Mumpsy delivers a solidly original sound wrapped neatly in a pretty pop bow. Mumpsy will be sharing their talents on The Road To RedGorilla on January 10, 2009 at Will’s Pub in Orlando, Fla. They will be joined by fellow Florida rockers XOXO, The Beauvilles, and Poverty Branch and will be competing for a prime time spot on the RedGorilla Music Festival in March 2009. Your Electric Grandmother hails from Kansas City, MO where the showcase was held, and began their musical journey as the house band for KC’s Lee’s Summit. After covering everything from Lionel Richie to Tool, Your Electric Grandmother decided to take their dreams a step further, writing and recording all original material for the upcoming album slated for release on December 27th. Airline Prepares to Take Flight

AirlineWhile they have been compared sonically to the Kinks, The Police, and Pink Floyd, Dallas-based Airline is anything but a throwback.  Ranging from pensive to explosive, their sound is the sum of the creative tension between four opinionated musicians.

The band hammers away at each song until the arrangement is taut and visceral.   “We don’t quite fit the slacker image of just jamming away in the garage.  We’ve been known to argue over the placement of one bass note or chord voicing.  But when the song finally clicks, we all know it,” explains Airline.

Catch Airline’s performance at Road to RedGorilla’s Dallas Regional Showcase and pick up the band’s new

debut LP, Farewell Republica. Check out Airline’s music at www.myspace.com/airlinemusic

Sunward

RedGorilla Looks Sunward

Merging melodic song craft with psychedelically infused sounds, Sunwards music moves in a refreshing direction somewhere between indie-pop and space rock. While their compositions are steeped in lush, heady audioscapes painted by atmospheric violin, guitar and synthesizers, Sunward never abandons the most important element of a rock song, the melody.

Sunward’s style is a quirky retro-pop that is both cerebral and catchy.Sunward recently released their full-length album entitled, “Ladies and Gentlemen, Start Your Horses,”

Sunward will be rocking Club Data for Road to RedGorilla. Check out the tunes at www.myspace.com/sunward
